Hi, thought I would share a settings configuration for Metaphor on the Steam Deck. With this I get a locked 40fps, even in the city sections.
Step 1
Download the Lyall PC fix
Step 2
Edit the Lyall PC fix ini file.
Change LOD value to 7 (default 10)
Change shadow quality to 1000 (default 2048)
Can change other QOL
Step 3
In game settings.
Resolution - 1280x720
Screen mode - windowed
Vsync - off
Rendering scale - 100%
Ambient Occlusion - off
Texture quality - normal
Frame rate limit - 60
Step 4
Steam deck settings
FPS cap - 40
TDP - 13w
Optional
I use reshade to add adaptive sharpening and vibrance.
I also use the stretch option in steam os to use the full screen.
These options give me 4hours battery in the city and about 5 hours in the first dungeon.
