To quote George Bush after hearing Trump’s inaugural address, “That was some weird shit.”

Only 13 more felonies, but who's counting?

"Solicitation of Violation of Oath by Public Officer"

Rudy and Lindsey are screwed.

Oh we are counting.

I assumed that was about the recorded call asking to "find votes".

Rudy and Graham made calls as well.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Aug 14 (Reuters) - The Fulton County, Georgia, court's website briefly posted a document on Monday listing several criminal charges against former U.S. President Donald Trump that appeared related to his attempts to overturn his 2020 election defeat in the state, before taking the document down without explanation.

The document was dated Aug. 14 and named Trump, citing the case as "open," but is no longer available on the court's website.

A Georgia prosecutor, District Attorney Fani Willis, has been probing whether Trump and his allies illegally sought to overturn the state's 2020 election results and has been expected to seek an indictment from a grand jury this week.

If Trump is charged in Georgia, it would mark his fourth indictment in less than five months, and the second to arise from his efforts to overturn his loss to Joe Biden's in the 2020 presidential election.

The Fulton County clerk's office could not immediately be reached for comment on the docket report.

The two-page document cites the "Violation Of The Georgia Rico (Racketeer Influenced And Corrupt Organizations) Act," "Solicitation Of Violation Of Oath By Public Officer," "Conspiracy To Commit False Statements and Writings" and "Conspiracy To Commit Forgery in the First Degree," among other charges listed.

I'm a bot and I'm open source!

I hope this is Fani fucking with him just to see if he will incriminate himself further.

[–] bauhaus@lemmy.ml 11 points 1 year ago (1 children)

he doesn’t need help with that. he’ll do it anyway. that’s called “Tuesday”.

[–] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

Tuesday

I doubt he'll make it that long. It's not even 4pm yet.

[–] athos77@kbin.social 2 points 1 year ago

It doesn't matter. The case is in Georgia, there'll be at least one Fox-addict on the jury to hang it.
