"Corrupted Stack" should be a swear.

Good scifi-setting swear. Especially a Transistor-esque sort of digital cyberpunk setting.
Or a name for a band that is really into steampunk
Now its my new cyberpunk hacker alias. :P
Thanks for this. I have lost a backpack of 74+ books, a pouch of gems, other things. Containers seem to be bugged somehow. Luckily, I never stashed my gold. I won't now.
It works just fine for me. It just doesn't stick gold you pick up automatically into the bag, and you can't open the bag in the barter screen. Switch to the "trade" screen, and it doesn't matter if things are in bags; it will show everything you have in your inventory, even the alchemy and supply stuff which automatically goes into their own bags. Plus you can only sell everything marked as wares instantly from the trade screen. Unless you're trading items for items instead of straight up buying and selling with gold, the Barter screen is worthless.
At first it works like that. Up until the stack of gold corrupts.
I've had excess of 50k gold when I finished the game and the only problem I had with it was the weight. Can your bag fit more weight? Bags can only hold so much weight and gold has weight. Or maybe it's only an issue with M&KB interface? I played through using a controller the whole time. The UI is entirely different from the keyboard.
Any idea why that happens? I have not (thankfully) seen that yet.
I dont know. But a comment further up, @Reeses258@lemmy.world , suggests it is the barter screen.
I figured out you can split your corrupt gold stacks and one split of it usually uncorrupts. So now I just do that whenever I end up with corrupted gold. (For me it always happens when using the barter screen)
Thanks the the heads up. I just keep my meager amount of gold loose in my inventory like a filthy poor. I keep spending all the money I find on scrolls and upgrading equipment for the group.
I am sure that halfing merchant loves to see me coming his way with my pockets jiggling.
Money isn't doing you any good in your inventory. It's there to be spent.
That said, I have tons of items I'm holding onto that I could sell for money tons of scrolls and stuff, for example. Does anyone know if ingots are used for anything, or should they just be used for money items like gems?
Also really curious.
I'm just done with chapter 2 and havent found any use for ingots yet.
