I was going to go sleep, but now I have some gaming to do.

Im just waking up. What game is that?
Lords Of The Realm 2. A game I like to play to relax.
A rough day just got worse for the ladder guys.
I remember that scene from The Two Towers
This picture got me wondering why not burn the big wooden door down?
Well, you'd have to get close to it for one, and at that point it's quicker to bash it down than to wait for it to burn. You also would generally need significant kindling to get the fire going strong enough to burn down something thick like a gatehouse door, and the defenders could put the fire out if you let up the attack at any point. Battering ram is just the easier option.
What castle is this supposed to be? The tower section looks absurdly oversized to be medieval. Even the most fortified crusader castles never reached dimensions like this. Seems to be more fantasy than history to me.
It's a model for demonstration. Obviously they wanted to cram as much stuff as possible in one picture and not depict a specific attack.
That doesn't explain what I was pointing out even one bit, though. The scale is way off.
