Warning: We have a tendency to post things that may at times come from a self-deprecating perspective or things that are funny coming from another queer person. This space will always be a safe place for transfems, non-binary people, people with a feminine gender expression (GNC or otherwise) or anybody else in the LGBT Community to come together and share about our experiences but we truly feel that laughing about the sometimes silly and embarrassing parts the queer experience can help bring us together. We never mean offense or harm in anything posted but rather they are satirical takes coming from queer people.

A note about 'Egging': Our community is mostly made up of transfem individuals, and as such most memes posted will be posted with the intention of having a transfem perspective. However, regardless of gender identity, all feminine presenting individuals are welcome here. Whether that means you're NB, GNC, transmasc, or any other identity, you are welcome here. It is not our intention or goal to invalidate these identities. If something makes you uncomfortable, please feel free to report the post and I will address your concerns on an individual level. so this is like a lot more negative post, idk, i got crypto scammed out of $70 trying to buy hrt (edit: a friend has offered to help cover my losses) (lemmy.blahaj.zone)

~~i made a post on reddit asking for advice on setting up a crypto wallet and mentioning that i was doing it to get hrt, and like, this guy came into my dms and offered to explain it to me in discord dms. anyway he helped me set it up, explained it all to me, and like i thought he was just helping so much because he was like a chaser or something. anyway, he told me i had to set up the thing with a DApp or something which ngl confused me and he just kept hitting me with this jargon and for some reason i typed my full key phrase into the site, and just as i was about to send the money to the hrt place he took everything out of my wallet and then tried to persuade me to put another $150 in~~

~~basically, dont ever trust strangers who are too nice, im going to drink myself to sleep and cry because not only can i not get hrt now, but also i had already budgeted myself so that i might be missing a few meals over the next 2 weeks or so to pay for it~~

edit: a friend has offered to cover the money i lost which is really cool of her ngl so like, you don't need to worry about me anymore

That sucks. I've been crypto scammed before and it's not fun. Are you unable to get hrt through a healthcare provider?

That sucks big time. Strangers can be nice but crypto is always dangerous, it attracts the shittiest people. May the power of garf get you through things.

If you mention crypto on reddit, scammers will attack. What crypto wallet do you need to buy HRT?
