Officials in the United States believe that a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas in Gaza is unlikely before President Joe Biden leaves office in January, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The newspaper on Thursday cited top-level officials in the White House, State Department and Pentagon without naming them.

Netanyahu prefers to wait for some dumb criminal that won’t ask as many questions. Hamas as well.

Wait for a more malleable American president before committing to any cease fire he doesn’t need. The war sustains both Netanyahu and Hamas.

It's a voting year so every politician is too busy campaigning and shitting on the other side to do anything of value with the issue. Before the campaigns are over, I bet one side is going to say that if they're elected, they'll stop the conflict in Gaza, but they won't
