According to the Insect Identifier app, it is an Angular Orbweav Spider and found across Europe. Not sure if it’s accurate but it says that it changes it color based on environment which is why the example image is a lighter color.

Its definitely not harmful to humans or any medium sized mammalian pet. And as predators, pretty much all spiders are harmful to some animals.

Please crop out these incorret and useless warnings next time.

If you weren't in Europe my guess would be the beach wolf spider, but an orb Weaver would have been my second guess so the other posted seems to have it.

~~The world is wide and spiders aplenty, but in any case based on the tarsus, the leaf-shaped abdomen and the coloration I would say a cyrtophora.~~

~~If you said southern europe, I would bet on a cyrtophora cirticola, but I'm not sure what tent weaver might live where you are.~~

~~Were the tarsus pointy and the abdomen oval shaped or was it irregular?~~

~~What size is it (e.g a walnut)?~~

~~Was it inside your house or in the garden?~~

Probably araneus angulatus would be a better match.

I agree with Araneus angulatus.
