What UI are you using? I see the whole thing on Alexandrite, Proton, and on regular lemmy.world.
I'm using Connect. I'll check some other UIs.
Edit A: DuckDuckGo browser has it cut off, too.
Edit B: It's cut off in Firefox browser.
Edit C: and also in Thunder.
Everything else looks fine. It's just that one field. I see it's cut off in a couple other movie posts too.
Strange, I'm on Firefox as well. I checked Sync and it's fine there too.
EDIT: Checked DDG browser and I can see all of it. It's good on Connect as well.
I dunno what the problem is but it seems to be on your end. I'm not sure what I could do to fix it either.
Maybe it's my phone? Idk. I just didn't want you to have that slip by unnoticed... But maybe it's a me issue
Yeah I dunno. I looked on my phone and on desktop. And no one else has mentioned it. I'm not sure what could be causing that.
Looks like I'm having odd issues in another thread, text size is all screwy for me. So yeah, I wouldn't worry about it on your end.
Sorry for the false alarm.
No worries, thanks for bringing it to my attention. I'll keep an eye out for anyone else having issues.
I very much enjoyed this, much better than what the critics are saying. It has the feel of Alien on a 19th century ship but it's Dracula and that's what I wanted. 4/5
I watched it today in a sneak review in Germany.
The Film was good. Well told old type of Story, through there was no "catharsis", the ending was kinda meh.
I can guess why it ended the way it did but still felt a bit like a downer.
The cinematohraphy, the music and the sounds were really good to amazing. The editing during the boarding part was wonky, but once the Crew was on the ship it was good.
The production was really good. I wish the lotr, wot, one piece and other big streaming Shows could Look this good.
The acting was fine. The captain and the first mate were the best, I know them from other movies and they seem to be the most experienced.
Something I was wondering, what was the young guy afraid of at the very beginning. There shouldnt be anything really disturbing left on the ship.
Honestly not a bad film. It's nothing new or anything but it does do a good job at what its meant to do. The actors do a great job. The story is pretty straight forward and doesn't get off track so it's a easy watch to follow even if you're half paying attention. I got no real complaints besides the lack of blood/gore which I mean given the setting isn't surprising. Also I kinda wish Dracula was a physical prop more than not but the CGI isn't bad at all, so again just minor complaints. Overall a pleasant watch and would recommend to anyone who likes this type of movies. 7/10
