I think we may need to start tallying a killcount for Mr. True

Everett straight up commits voluntary manslaughter

Who's gonna stop him? Not me.

Holding a guy underwater isn't just straight up murder?

[–] TexasDrunk@lemmy.world 8 points 1 month ago

Murder is a homicide with malice aforethought. He had no thought except a nice day swimming.

I would use a crime of passion defense.

Not unless you can prove intent to kill.

Almost looks like the prankster's wearing a Guy Fawkes mask.

Who is the weird calf grabber? Why is he grabbing calves?

I like to imagine this was a very relatable experience back in 1917

those millennial kids were always doing that

It's a very relatable experience if you were a kid.

Source: grew up near a swimming spot

Yeah, I can't help but remember being pushed very hard into a pool as a prank and that feeling of panic. Or, if you have ever been swimming in a lake or pond and felt something brush your leg, there's a primal flee/fight. Everett is a big boned dude and can't move away quickly. He couldn't help it that the dude slipped under his gunboats for feet.
