I can't think of a better symbol for free speech falling from grace, than the common space of a University quad being surrounded by a fence.

That picture is chilling.

A hopeful thought: That fence has a lot of potential as a symbol... Should any local artists feel the need to anonymously contribute to campus culture...

Edit: Since people seem to be misunderstanding me, allow me to clarify. Protesting off campus is an escalation. "You don't want protests on campus? Fine, we'll take it to Main Street, and get way more people involved."
