They should have spent the time developing something of solid value, rather than patent trolling, and competing with brands, who released similar products, just to throw something into the market
My last job was dedicated to Sonos hardware for the music in their retail locations. Part of my role was to manage all of that garbage and the integration with a custom A/V solution. Who's laughing now, assholes? HAHAHAHAHA!!!
I sold off my 4 Play:1s just after the initial app release, seeing the writing on the wall. Looks like it is time to sell off my newer Sonos speakers and invest in an alternative.
I love how my app automatically cropped the image to just say "ono" XD
