How about a $50 discount and you throw the front camera in the trash?

[–] folkrav@lemmy.ca 10 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Never doing video calls, I suppose?

No, I hope not.

You are getting a Dimensity 7350 which is 10% faster in CPU and 30% faster in GPU compared to 7200 pro. The front camera was upgraded from 32MP Sony IMX615 to 50MP samsung JN1 sensor.

So, not much improvement for $50.

Indeed.

Still disappointed that Nothing Phone does not have a version with an audio jack.

I would rather they give an sdcard. Because, at least for 3.5mm jack you have wireless earbuds/headphones. You don't have wireless sdcard for more storage.

Even their cheaper release CMF Phone didn't get a headphone jack, so I don't think Nothing line is gonna get soon.

Aw man, every midrange phone that would be interesting comes with MediaTek SOCs. I should check if the custom rom scene is still dead for phones with MT chips... Do they still withold the sources needed for rom developement?

Nothing to see phone.

God, these phones look cool.

The price to performance ratio is awful, but man, I love how these phones look.
