Interestingly enough I recently saw a job posting in relation to an initiative to restart submarine manufacturing in the US

Canada lost ours during the NAFTA-shafta. Along with all the trades and industry that supported it. But we got to keep cheese expensive, so we've got that going for us which is nice.
