The dark. She is 27 and still sleeps with the bedside lamp on. I suspect everyone is still afraid of certain things, well into adulthood.

Not 27, but my toddler has been saying they don't like to blink because it's dark behind their eyelids.

This has also had an impact when bedtime approaches.

My daughter was really afraid of spider webs.

We managed to unwind it a little thinking about it being a home for a spider - where might the lounge / bedroom be?, etc...

My 2 year old has started talking about being afraid of the dark and monsters. No idea where she picked it up.

Bugs? Probably. Spiders like to make webs on the gazebo and trampoline
