The claims of violence are whatever. Seeing as it's mostly coming from the LNP, I'm inclined to believe it's grossly exaggerated if not entirely fabricated.
But ECQ really did stuff up the Council election earlier this year. They were grossly understaffed, resulting in exceedingly long lines and a ridiculously slow count process. Hopefully they've realised their error and October's State election will be smoother. I've put my name forward to assist.
