One of the most hilarious arguments I've ever been in was with someone who said "There never were any dinosaurs, God put those fossils in the ground to test our faith"

Some Bible scholars do actually say that (in the Book of Job chapter 40), it describes "behemoths" that were large intimidating creatures from ancient times.

This obviously doesn't fit creationism though.
