Tbh it should be called a hotfix and probably you need one more number in the version number for such stuff.

as this is alpha, bumping the bugfix number is normal. But also I dont have anything to do with the project

The app is quite stable so 0.0 is a questionable number decision already.

I never said you are. I just pointed out that the number choice makes little sense to me.
