Interesting article. The article's title seems to take away from the fact that they're an invasive species though.

It's why you can hunt hogs here in some areas of the US from a helicopter with infrared and a machine gun but other animals will have aspects of this limited.

It wouldn't be much of an exaggeration to say there's a war against them.

It starts off talking about foxes, then moves on to cattle, sheep, and horses, but it does get to pigs just below that.

Mostly just setting up the story of how they got there and how their presence is endangering the native island fox population.
