People should know you can observe nature, but you shouldn't be dicking around with it.

Allowing people to cuddle a koala normalises behaviour like feeding dingos at Fraser.

Just in case you hadn't heard, it was renamed last year to K'gari. Not sure who decided to spell the new/older name like that, because the K is completely silent.

There's a place in Perth where you can cuddle koalas. If that's illegal in WA, Then my whole family are outlaws.

I was all cynical about the place. Koalas aren't even native to WA. But as a place to take international visitors, it's great.

Holding and cuddling koalas was already illegal in most Australian states and territories, excluding Queensland

It's frustrating how vague the article is on that point. "Most excluding Queensland" could just mean "4", but I think most people would naturally assume it to mean "all apart from Queensland".
