STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- An accidental “hit” by a City Department of Transportation (DOT) truck resulted in the gruesome decapitation of one-time Genovese family crime boss, Anthony Conigliaro, 86, known as “Tony Cakes,” “Tony the Dessert Man,” which was first reported by the NY Post.

I have to admit, this is the first time I've seen a DOT truck identified as a crime boss.

As unlikely as that sounds, an NYC DOT truck accidentally hit a former mafia boss and decapitated him.

According to people that knew him, the victim (Anthony Conigliaro) was “always looking out for others.”
