Mountaintop Studios has released the first teaser for its in-development competitive shooter inspired by anime, manga, and comics.

Mountaintop Studios is a relatively new studio formed in 2020 by Nate Mitchell, a co-founder of Oculus. Mitchell enlisted several others to the studio for its leadership with experience at Double Fine, Valve, Naughty Dog, Riot Games, and Blizzard Entertainment. Now, the studio has more than four dozen employees and is hard at work developing a shooter it hopes has 10,000 hours of depth and fosters incredible communities and lasting friendships.

Well it can't be any worse than what Activision and blizzard are shoveling at us. Can't wait to see something from the new guys.

unfortunately it could be worse with more invasive anti cheat software.

Im sorry. But i do think that the market for competitive shooters is a bit too saturated?

Cs2 arrive soon as well. Lol.

I don't know anything about the market, but I was really in to Overwatch for a while. It went downhill when they basically abandoned the first game and then came out with a second to flip the business model to battle pass bs.

I'd be down for something new to fill its spot and this looks like it could be it
