Is Google hunting down all team drives? In yesteryears you could get a team drive for free and start uploading all kinds of data there and no one seemed to care

Yes. As with all too good to be true things, even if it's true, people will abuse it and force to be not true anymore.

Yup. Mostly due to dickheads being like 'I'm hosting 6 PBs of data lol'. Now we dont get to have nice things like cloud storage. But I guess its also good because fuck google and giving them money.
