Harassment, racism, homophobia, etc. will not be tolerated. **Don't plagiarize.** If you post someone else's flag design, make sure to clearly credit the original creator so that it doesn't appear to be your own. This obviously doesn't include established flags (i.e., you don't need to worry about crediting the designer of the U.S. flag). **Stay on topic.** Please only post about flags. You can post flag designs, flag collections, flag news, flag discussions, or whatever else, but it needs to be at least somewhat related to flags.
That's a really great redesign! I love that you managed to keep the original symbolism in there while dramatically simplifying things and making an overall more satisfying flag.
As a Marylander, however, I am now legally obligated to stab you through the chest with a live crab. ๐
Since I'm that one guy who doesn't like Maryland's flag, I tried to give it a redo when I was redesigning all of the US state flags. I took the Crossland and Baltimore banners and simplified them to make an (imo) better looking flag that alludes to the designs. There's even some extra symbolism in there: there are seven stripes since Maryland was the 7th state to ratify the Constitution and join the US.
