Request a Feddit.uk community

If you see a need for a community on Feddit.uk then the best advice is to start it. If you need help, then post a message requesting volunteers to pitch in on the moderating. Don't worry too much though there's plenty of people around who can advise the important thing is to get the ball rolling.

However, if you think Feddit.uk needs a community but you aren't in a position to help it get started then this is the community for you. Start a new post with the idea and then, when someone starts it they can throw a link in.

MODERATORS

We've got communities for the Lib-Dems, Tories, Greens and (iirc) SNP but we don't have anything for us dirty dirty socialist in the Labour Party.

I used to run the main Reddit Labour community, and would be happy to join another one on here, but definitely not to run it. Moderating that sub took years off my life...

I'm sure it was a lot of work. I got a bit tired of being told to vote against Labour in r/labour.

That's what I worry about. I've already got one community on the go and I'm too anxious to actually get that started so there's absolutely no way I need this stress.

At the moment, it's pretty quiet on here and there are rarely issues.

Agree with the community request, but got to say that labour itself is very far from socialist. Doesn’t even pay lip service to socialism.

From the wording of it, they want one for the socialists in Labour who remain unpurged, so:

  • Reds under Starmer's beds
  • The only Trot in the village

Honestly it was just a means of filling a post. I'm not looking for a UKLabour v Labour split, a....broad church of Labour opinion would suffice for now.
