Completely agree. 14 and The Fold are fantastic. I think his 'Terminus' might be in the same universe

I'm a fan of Peter Clines' books. He has an Ex heros series about superheros and zombies, very fun!

I have been looking for a new book to read. We'll give this one a try, because it sounds interesting.

I read this book this year. It was damn novel. The main character was interesting and I enjoyed the concept. I think also that this book could get away with having a sequel.

Not sure if you're joking, but this is book 2 of 4 in a series.

No I am not didn't even know that until I read the review. Now I am looking for the rest. Hopefully they are available on Libby.

Edit: I went to look and I now know why I didn't know. Libby shows it as a serious.

This was a pretty good book. I finished it early this morning and it was quite good.

The whole Threshold series is great, especially the audiobook versions. Ray Porter narrates a lot of sci-fi audiobooks, and he's always great.

Agree. I would highly recommend new readers to the series to start with 14. Apart from being a great introduction to this world, it gives off a really good sense of going down the rabbit hole. A really fun ride.

Book 3 was probably the weakest as it had a completely different tone, but still enjoyable for fans of the author.

I would also recommend Dark Matter by Blake Crouch that was recently adapted into a tv series. Best to go in blind. Don't even watch the tv series trailer as it contains minor spoilers.

I read this because it was recommended after I read The Breach by Patrick Lee

I found The Breach better because it was more action, but I'd recommend both to anyone

I did really like this, but it is a bit generic.

The audio book is fantastically done and it's written well enough. Characters are fleshed out and interesting, the universe makes sense.

Again: I really enjoyed it I just don't think it really put anything new on the table.

Edit: wanted expand on both the good and bad, no spoilers.

The plot is nifty enough but you could guess it from start to finish with like 2 cues (and you get those pretty early). There's really nothing challenging there we haven't seen before.

That being it said plays out well. The "big" plot elements you'll see coming but the little things and character reactions are why I say it's well written. I may have seen this movie a bunch but I liked watching these characters do it.
