Comic Strips
Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

I'm not sure what type of humour this is called, but man I love this shit. It's like...almost a non-sequitor.
Gets me every time.
The evolution of comedy in 75 years: if you made this now the guitar would work.
How did he expect that to work, when it doesn't even have an amp?
Cause the comic was made in 1949, most people only knew acoustic.
But that inevitably leads to the next question: How did he expect to make this joke in 1949? He should have known that Jimi Hendrix hadn't even started playing guitar by then.
Because people had heard of electric guitars
I think he's just expecting the player piano version of a guitar.
Lemmy needs a good boomer humor community.
That ain't Boomer Humor. The oldest of them would be...4 years old then. It's Greatest Generation humor. The ones whose work the Boomers killed.
Fair enough, but stuff like this would fall under that umbrella.
IIRC, the boomer humor subs on reddit allowed stuff outside that era if it was properly labeled.
I think Boomer Humor has to not just be from the era, but have some kind of "wife bad" energy to it. This one is just kind of cute.
Hence the term Good Boomer Humor.
Comics that are of the same time and style of those "wife bad" comics, but actually funny and acceptable by today's standards.
