Can’t log into lemmy.ml (lemmy.ml)

I made an account a while back, now I can’t seem to log in to my lemmy.ml account, I had to restore my phone because of an issues, now I can’t log in at all and it keeps asking for 2fa when I didn’t even set one at all?

I’m logged into my .ml account right now. but I heard somewhere that Mali is taking back the .ml domain?

You can try disabling 2FA if you're logged on to your lemmy.ml account from another device. Otherwise, try contacting one of the admins. They can remove 2FA for you.

Admins can if you ask them to.

Defeats the purpose of 2FA then. Social engineering can be used at that point. Yikes

You need access to the database and admins can just outright refuse to do anything about locked accounts.
