The pure determination and unrelenting effort from plants is downright inspirational.

Yup, that was a learning curve for me as a gardener. I used to be so afraid of pruning or transplanting, and would baby my plants, now I'm mean and they still mostly all do fine!

Last year we had 1 merrigold tomato plant that we didn't trim and it went wild. We had way too many tomatoes so we let a bunch fall on the ground and only picked what we needed. This year I have been pulling tomato plants out by the dozen as they are a dominant weed in my garden. They are insanely hardy these days
