Trump is being forced to run for president? Is he unable to make decisions on his own or is he being forced by companies that line his pockets?

He's being forced by the fact that it's the only way he sees to stay out of jail basically lol. All those "Democrat Witch Hunts" are really getting to him.

the sad thing is you are likely right, but he also can't pardon himself from the state level crimes, but him getting presidency again would be a lot easier then having to restart the legal process /again/ since the supreme court refused to elaborate on if he was actually immune for the charges, just that acting as commander grants immunity for official acts.
