Welcome to this week’s casual kōrero thread!

This post will be pinned in this community so you can always find it, and will stay for about a week until replaced by the next one.

It’s for talking about anything that might not justify a full post. For example:

  • Something interesting that happened to you
  • Something humourous that happened to you
  • Something frustrating that happened to you
  • A quick question
  • A request for recommendations
  • Pictures of your pet
  • A picture of a cloud that kind of looks like an elephant
  • Anything else, there are no rules (except the rule)

Reminder, the canvas event starts tomorrow (Friday, I believe it starts at 4pm NZ time), and runs through the weekend.

You will be able to sign in using your lemmy account. You enter your lemmy account name and it sends you a message to prove it's you so you don't have to enter your password. Then you can place one pixel every X amount of time. I'm not actually sure what the time is this year, last year it was about 30 seconds I think but you had to wait longer to change pixels that had already been placed previously. And last year it let you stack up to I think 6, so you come in every so often and place your 6 pixels.
