β€œSam: I wonder if we'll ever be put into songs or tales. Frodo: [turns around] What? Sam: I wonder if people will ever say, 'Let's hear about Frodo and the Ring.' And they'll say 'Yes, that's one of my favorite stories. Frodo was really courageous, wasn't he, Dad?' 'Yes, my boy, the most famousest of hobbits. And that's saying a lot.' Frodo: [continue walking] You've left out one of the chief characters - Samwise the Brave. I want to hear more about Sam. [stops and turns to Sam] Frodo: Frodo wouldn't have got far without Sam. Sam: Now Mr. Frodo, you shouldn't make fun; I was being serious. Frodo: So was I. [they continue to walk] Sam: Samwise the Brave...”

It always makes me cry so damn hard when he gets to go to Valinor. Like, can you imagine him seeing Frodo again after all that time? 😭

And the scene when Gandalf, Galadriel, and Celeborn are boarding the ship at the Grey Havens, and then Frodo turns around... God it just kills me.

Annie Lennox's voice is so damn ethereal as well

On the topic of Tolkien, this morning I was going through some old books that were still in boxes from moving house last year. Found a copy of The Adventures of Tom Bombadill which I've had for decades, I remember my grandmother used to read it to me when I was a kid in the 70's. Well, it turns out that this little hardback is a first edition print from 1962 (UK release) and some are selling online for $700+, one seller had a copy up for $1100!

No plans to sell it, but I should probably take a bit more care with it :)
