If I'm growing inside, how far away can you smell it? I see grows where they don't even use a tent, that has to be smelly. I just want to grow one plant or two at a time and I don't want to invest a lot of money. Ideally less than 200 for equipment.

It's a normal plant smell for 70% of the grow. That last 30% will dank up the house and the dog too if you don't have a decent tent and carbon filter.

I am incapable overall, so I can't tell you how to gerryrig a smell proof setup for 200, but there is a complete dummy proof set up for sale on Amazon with perfectly decent equipment that will last you years.
