An online space for the vegans of Lemmy.

Rules and miscellaneous:

  1. We take for granted that if you engage in this community, you understand that veganism is about the animals. You either are vegan for the animals, or you are not (this is not to say that discussions about climate/environment/health are not allowed, of course)

It's really good. I am not used to vegan cheese being so similar to cow cheese ^^

I struggle with vegan cheese. I was never really a cheese fan before going vegan. I liked cheddar, parmesan, mozerella and that's about it.

Most vegan cheeses I find are quite stinky with quite a strong taste. I much prefer the subtle vegan cheeses. My go to are:

  • Violife cheese
  • Applegate vegan cheese
