The education crisis is well over 40 years old. Some school districts are lucky to have 30% trained staff in their schools. Meaning, 70% of their staff are people they picked off the streets that could pass a background check. As someone that was a teacher I'm thankful for those bodies to help out, but in no way are they qualified to educate children. Most schools are glorified baby sitters.

Weird how my school district that pays a living wage has 200 qualified teachers applying to every position. It amazing what paying g 30-40% more than the surrounding states does.
