I dropped a 1kg tub of greek yoghurt onto the kitchen tiles. So much yoghurt. Should've stayed in bed.

I think the worst I've done was a glass jar of honey...very hard to clean up. A few months ago though on a Saturday morning, I woke to a crash and then my 8 year old coming in a minute later or so..."now you're going to be upset, but.... there's been a terrible accident"... (can't be upset with that sort of honesty)...She takes me out to the kitchen and there's a smashed Meredith goats cheese jar (one of those super sized ones) on the floor near the fridge...."the lid wasn't on properly and when I picked it up I dropped it...."..... So so messy. And then slippery for a while because we couldn't seem to get all the oil up...

I've found washing powder to be really good with oil spills and similar. Cap of washing powder with warm water, or if that doesn't work, washing powder on the spill and a wet cloth

It ended up being absorbed by the floor boards I think...

At least if wasn't one of those 2kg buckets. Take the small wins. 😃

I once dropped an opened tiin of beetroot on a white cat who ran in offended circles around the white kitchen

In future, windex dissolves beetroot stains. Don't ask how I know.

Probably more effective on kitchen than cat 😹

Yeah, can't say I've had to clean beetroot off a cat..... I can't even imagine how to begin with that. I guess you had a pink cat?

[–] Catfish@aussie.zone 3 points 5 months ago (1 children)

You guess correctly. Bathtime was not a success.

[–] Eagle@aussie.zone 2 points 5 months ago

I'm sorry but I did actually laugh at the thought...

Adulting taken to the next level.

It can always be worse 🙃

I did this sort of thing the other day.

Went to press a bowl of Japanese curry against myself to hold it better, ended up flipping it onto me then dropping it. Most of it stayed in the bowl but I made a mess of my robe and the kitchen floor
