It seems like there is very little pirated content for schools (textbooks) in the piracy scene. Here in Germany, e-books are becoming normal in education.

So I ask you, especially the Germans among you, if you know of resources for pirated textbooks used in schools and if you are interested in such.

Such books as PDFs are actually useful, as you might imagine, since proprietary apps (several) are standard.

Library Genesis (www.libgen.is) is an extremely useful resource for textbooks. Not guaranteed that it'll have what you're looking for, and I don't know much about it outside of the english language, but there's a decent chance you'll find what you need.

I'm a teacher and i always tell my students to definitely don't ever go to LibGen where their textbook is likely available totally free and certainly don't return your textbook and i absolutely won't be using it myself either.

Came here to say this basically. Library Genesis and other students Definitely share textbooks, notes, previous exams between us all through Google Drive folders and other means

Very interesting, so local institution-wide (e.g. one school) sharing (too)? Would love to see students share their stuff liberaly here.

Yeah, my files have even been passed down to my younger cousin and his friends

Wow, inspirational! Thinking about scanning my exams I have stored physically for preservation and passing it down digitally to my brother, and whoever benifits from it. Really nice of you!

Thanks for your input. Did some more intensive research on libgen, and actually there are some useful uploads :)

Edit: Still, I am optimistic that this can be improved
