I can’t speak specifically to Avelon because I don’t know how it handles (or if it even does handle) uploads, but for posing a picture on a third party site like tinypic, the markdown structure is:
![Alt Text](pictureurl.com)
That’s what I use in mlem.
Hello!
Yes, I'm aware of the usual syntax for that, I was just wondering if there was any built-in way to do this in the app. 😄
Perfect, it’s frustrating when those features aren’t obvious, and it seems like wysiwyg posing would be table stakes for a good app after this long. I love mlem, but that’s a big part of why it’s my secondary browser and not my primary.
Mlem dev here - we added a button for this to both the post editor and comment editor in our 1.3 update.
That’s awesome, thanks a ton, that helps.
Am I also missing where there is a wysiwyg markdown editor in the comment composer?
Nope; we haven't got one yet. We hope to add one sometime in the future though.
Thanks!
FYI, I pinged you on the other side, hopefully that person will find it useful
Interesting, thanks!
