Don't forget to roll the clothes up in towels and stand on them to get as much moisture out as possible after. I handwashed my clothes when the machine broke and they didn't dry quickly enough to avoid getting mouldy
Edit: If this might drag on or you might get sick again, consider a portable washing machine. It might let you do a small load more easily
Are the small portable ones any good? Didn't know they were this cheap
I'm not sure, I haven't used one before but once bought one for a friend who was in a tight spot. You might want to check which features each of them have as the very cheapest (Big W) says it's a camping one. Also check Amazon and Ebay to see if they're any cheaper as sometimes it can be the exact same thing as in the chain store
Edit: Ok it says the camping one comes with an AU adaptor so might be ok? But I didn't want to miss mentioning that.
They are actually not cheaper on ebay. But the one I got my friend looked like this
