They dye the relish in Chicago. Don't know why but it's a part of a real Chicago hot dog

That is so weird. Looks like blue dye! Definitely way less appealing than the natural colour of pickles that I’m used to with relish.

According to Wikipedia, it is blue dye. I guess it mixes with the green of the relish to make...that.
