Hey Gang,
First time potentially purchasing from facebook marketplace.
Any tips or what I'm in for?
Cash, cash only. If something feels too good to be true it probably is a scam so trust you gut and walk away.
I wasn't too tempted by the cash option since it'd be more of a problem for me to draw out the cash.
Also double check the cash to make sure it's not counterfeit.
Look in the box and try the gadget right there.
face to face transaction, don't be transferring money hoping for postage.
Nah, won't be doing the postage thing.
Beware the "is this item still available"s....it's a stock quick reply.
Edit. Just re-read that you're a buyer. Hopefully the item is still available.
What type of thing are you buying?
Just a cheap video game.
Oh look you're probably okay, a counterfeit copy or damaged disc/card is possible but seems unlikely if it's a cheapie. Just meet in a public place if you can.
