Sure, the best way to learn is someone explaining the game to you live, but thats not always available.

What do you do? Read the manual, watch videos or something else? Any specific creator to recommend?

Play it on yucata.de with a friend.

Then take a first look at the rules halfway through the game to try and figure out win conditions and play mechanics.

Also viewing Watch it Played, SUSD or random HOWTO videos.
