It's not about the appointment itself, but the fact that it's set at all. Probably an ADHD thing, though I haven't been formally diagnosed.
It's also an autism thing, though there is some considerable overlap there so you could be forgiven for not knowing.

Yeah, I keep seeing autism and ADHD memes, and keep thinking "I do that all the time". Should probably talk to someone about it who can give a proper diagnosis.
I very much don't have ADHD, but I also struggle with the "I have an appointment later, so all I can do today is wait for the appointment" thing.
