Unstable commitment is Google's whole schtick.

I have a genuinely hard time relying on any Google tech that doesn't have an easy migration path off. I am still mad about what happened to domains.google.

domains is the first one to really get me. Felt like a core product and sold to fucking square space?? I've been moving to porkbun, pretty happy with it

That was my exact reaction as well! This is the first time I've heard of porkbun actually. Out of curiosity, what's good about them?

It just feels like a solid no-nonsense registrar. They aren't trying to fuck you over like GoDaddy, they aren't trying to sell you a website like Squarespace.

They have most domain endings (more than the popular ones), and their prices are extremely reasonable. Lemdro.id is registered through Porkbun, with the DNS done via Cloudflare.

Unstable Commitments will be their new Tinder competitor.
