A friend of mine mentioned that the Steam patch notes don't match the Discord patch notes, which say that the Guard Dog Rover was nerfed. Which would make a lot more sense.

The discord patch notes also list an increase in damage for the non-laser guard dog (no numbers listed for that one)

Encouraging us to use the gun dog makes sense. Making it ignore armored would be a fantastic improvement for a future update making way more viable.

Just give it infinite ammo

Since both would still have the "reload" animation

I straight up thought that was a bug because the ammo indicator only tells me how much ammo the current magazine has, there's nothing indicating it has an ammo pool except that it will just randomly stop working. I guess it's not broken, just really bad.

Pretty sure that's the main reason people overwhelmingly use the laser drone. This guy has a lot less team kill potential, if it would not just stop working after 2 minutes it would immediately be a much more valid option.

It's the reason I'm going to keep using the laser drone. I don't want to be stressing about how efficiently they're using their ammo, or that I don't have a backpack until the next resupply. Making the laser drone worse isn't going to make me want to use the ballistic drone more.
