Aaaaargh! 😱

I hope you're okay?

Many years ago, I lived in Ferntree Gully.

Beautiful suburb, lots of birds and other wildlife. Very peaceful.

But one night, I was fast asleep, when I was awakened by a rustling and scratching sound in the wardrobe.

I turned the light on, opened the wardrobe door.

AND OUT RUNS A MOUSE!!!

I jumped up on the bed and SCREAMED!

The mouse ran straight out the door as fast as it could.

I'm not sure who was more frightened β€” me or the mouse!

Anyway, next day I went to Bunnings and got a caulking gun and sealed up the spot where I *think* it got in.

Big cleanup in the kitchen and the back yard too.

That was the last I saw of it.

I hope you’re okay?

Just stopped shaking... I had to deal with one just before Christmas, though, so maybe that took the edge off?

What worries me is when it got in and how long it'd been there - as I said, I'm pretty sure it wasn't there yesterday and I only just started smelling That Smell, on the other hand it was stuck to the carpet and matted underneath, so... uggh.

Problem is, the foundations have sagged so there's a lot of places it could have got in (part of the reason I've sold the house). I just hope that's the last one I have to deal with before settlement day. >.<
