They weren't seized under noise complaints per se, they were seized because it's illegal to keep roosters in residential areas (because they're so fucking noisy): https://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/community-and-safety/pets-and-livestock/animal-registration-and-permits/livestock-and-horses#residential-area
