It might not. I have two, one blunts himself perfectly, the other is pointy as F. Same scratch trees etc never tried cutting them. Best guess is the blunt one spends more time in the tile end of the house, grout.

@Catfish I've found the secret is to get them when they're still half asleep.

And just one paw at a time โ€” don't think you'll get all four done in one go.
