That show Baby Reindeer really freaked me.

The last few scenes. What did Gadd realise?

Did he identify with his stalker's pain or did he see that she and his other sexual abuser are a total psychopaths who knowingly plan out their abuse?

Obviously both.

The rage the abusers have when people try to protect themselves is just incredible.

And abusers never learn, they are incapable.

I didn't like the very final scene, with him in the bar. Seemed a bit cliche.

I think it was meant to be a "full circle" moment, where he is the one who comes in the pub with no money and a bit emotional.

Except he didn't go in there on purpose to look for victims.

And I think it undercut the psychopath aspect of the people who abused him because the implication is that Gadd could become the stalker, which we know could actually never happen because he isn't a psycho.

Maybe the bar tender could become the next victim, eh.
