I think Slayers X is on gamepass as well. I haven't played it yet, but I would like to. I loved the vibe and artistry of Hypnospace Outlaw, but couldn't really get into it as a game. Really cool as like a "Geocities Simulator '97" sort of thing.
I don't know how far you got in Hypnospace Outlaw but I would describe it as more than a simulator. The story is really good and it really makes you care about the Hypnospace community. There are parts where the game jumps forward in time so you can see how certain events affect the community which is really cool. I think the game seems gimmicky at first but there's a lot of depth to it.
