Do you think there will ever be another game with "Dark Souls" in the title? Or will it all be Elden Ring going forward (lemmy.one)

I don't know if it would make sense for them to ever make Dark Souls 4 since Elden Ring is the more popular franchise and they're probably going to stick with open world going forward. But I think it would be pretty sweet if they made a remake of Dark Souls with an open world or something.

The creator of dark souls has stated that he doesn't like making sequels and dark souls 2 and 3 where made before he became president of from software . So I wouldn't expect dark souls 4 or Elden ring 2 . Or Bloodborne 2 despite the many articles about it .
